Junior Web Developer
Hi! I'm Kelsie, a Junior Developer based in Columbus, Ohio
I'm a Junior Web Developer in Columbus, Ohio, strengthening my skills by attending the Ohio State University's Coding Bootcamp to become a Full Stack Developer. I have a B.A. in Communications and a Minor in Design and am incredibly excited to get started in this new industry!
I'm also on the board of a local non-profit, Student Success Stores, where I help support the development and operations of the organization. In the age of COVID-19, our students are facing extraordinary circumstances, and Student Success Stores aims to bridge the gap to provide them with access to basic essentials. I am truly honored to be a part of this mission.

As part of my coursework, I have learned the foundations of Front-End development. We quickly moved through HTML and CSS and on to JavaScript. It has been fun and challenging to practically apply some of my design and communication skills.
The second phase of my coursework focuses on the back-end of websites and applications. After learning the basic structure of how a browser reads code, it is exciting to learn to run code without a browser and use it to change files and applications from the command line.
